Why is same game parlay greyed out for this... | Betzonic

Question

ok so i was trying to build a sgp on the thursday nighter (bears/commanders) and the sgp button just isn't there. straight singles and regular parlays are fine, moneyline, spread, all showing. but the second i try to combine two props from the same game it says unavailable. worked fine yesterday on the nba slate so idk what changed. is this a limit thing on my account or is something up with the game itself

9 times out of 10 this is a market/pricing thing not an account thing. sgp needs the book's correlation engine to price the legs together, and if one of the markets you touched is suspended (injury news, lineup not confirmed, late scratch) the whole sgp builder for that game shuts off until they re-open it. i had this exact thing happen on a bengals game when chase was a game time decision, receiving yards markets went dark and sgp died with it for like 40 mins, then came back. on My Bookie i've noticed the builder usually comes back way faster after news drops than the other app i used to have, which would sometimes leave a game without sgp until kickoff. also worth checking if one of your legs is a market they just don't allow in sgp at all, like some books block alt lines or 1st half stuff from being combined.

can confirm the injury news thing. sunday morning i was building a 4 leg sgp on the vikings game, jefferson got downgraded to questionable around 11:15 and the whole builder vanished. came back maybe 25 min later with worse prices lol. so yeah it's almost never your account

worth noting sgp availability also varies by state. i moved from arizona to washington for work and a bunch of the stuff i used to build on my phone just isn't offered here, tribal compact rules and all that. same app, same login, totally different market menu. so if OP recently traveled or the app relocated him that could be part of it too

yep same experience as top comment. i basically stopped panicking about it and just wait 20 minutes. the one that drove me nuts was a thursday game where sgp was off for like 3 hours because the ref assignment or whatever hadn't posted. refreshed and it was back, built my $25 sgp, lost it anyway 😂

wait so does the same game parlay thing get blocked for the WHOLE game or just the specific market that's suspended? because i've had the builder open but certain props just wouldn't add

both happen depending on the situation. if it's one player prop suspended you usually just can't add that leg, builder still works. if it's a core market like the total or a whole player's market tree going down, the correlation pricing breaks and they kill the builder for the game entirely. it's basically a risk thing, they'd rather show nothing than mispriced correlated legs

fwiw the market types that can't be combined are usually listed somewhere in the help section under sgp eligibility. stuff like futures, exact score, some alt totals, anything with its own weird hold. nobody reads it but it's there

also happens more on low profile games. college basketball tuesday nights, mls, anything where the book doesn't have enough data to price correlations. i tried building a sgp on a MAC game last year and it just straight up was never offered. not suspended, just not a thing for that matchup.

eh i'm not totally buying the "it's never your account" line. i got sgp pulled from my account for like two weeks after i cashed a couple of decent ones. never got a message, singles were fine, sgp button gone on every game. that's not injury news

ok that's fair but that's a limit and it looks different — yours was EVERY game, OP's is one game while nba worked fine the day before. books definitely limit sgp for people who beat them on it, i'm not denying that. but if it's game-specific it's a market issue. those are two separate problems that just look similar in the app

one thing nobody's said: app version. i was on an old build for months and half the sgp features didn't load, just a blank spot where the toggle should be. updated and suddenly everything was there. worth checking the app store before you assume anything

anyone know if you can still build the same thing manually as separate legs if sgp is off? like just do 3 singles instead

yeah you can always do singles, that's never restricted. what you can't do is put correlated legs from the same game into a regular parlay slip, the system will block it or tell you to use sgp. singles is the workaround but obviously you lose the parlay payout. i usually just do 2 or 3 singles at $10 each and call it a day

constantly. live sgp suspends every time there's a scoring play, a replay review, timeout, basically any time the model needs to re-price. in nba it's suspended more than it's open honestly. i've had a 4th quarter sgp sitting in my slip and by the time it came back the odds moved from +640 to +410

idk i still think some of this is books being sketchy on purpose. funny how the builder always seems to "break" right when there's info out that helps bettors and comes back when the price is worse. convenient

it's not a conspiracy, it's just risk management. when news breaks the book has stale prices up, so they suspend, reprice, reopen. every book in every state does it and it's literally in the house rules they file with the regulator. is it in their favor? obviously. is it targeted at you specifically? no. you can watch the suspend happen simultaneously across 4 different apps when an injury report drops, i've done it

OP here — update, it was the injury thing. checked later that night and one of the WRs i had a receiving yards leg on was a late scratch. builder was back like an hour before kickoff, legs i wanted had moved about 30 points worse. built it anyway, lost on the last leg because of course. thanks all, at least i know my account isn't cooked

for anyone finding this later — sgp also just doesn't exist for certain sports at certain books. tennis and golf especially. i wasted 20 min looking for it on a golf event before realizing it's not offered at all there

honestly my bigger gripe is the support side of this. i messaged chat asking why sgp was off for a game and got three copy paste replies in a row about "market availability may vary" and then they closed the ticket. took 40 minutes to get nothing. just say "injury news, try again soon" it's not hard

that's rough, my experience has been better. asked about a suspended market on a sunday and the rep actually told me the specific reason (player status pending) within like 4 minutes. might depend on time of day, sunday afternoon during the 1pm slate they're getting buried and you get the canned stuff. tuesday morning you get an actual human

top comment nailed it. i keep the game page open on my phone and my laptop now, when sgp dies i just refresh every few min. 90% of the time it's back within half an hour. stopped assuming i was shadowbanned lol
